A Paso Robles Wedding Venue Meant to Be Gathered In

San Marcos Ranch began as a family vision, a property rooted in space, character, and the kind of natural beauty that defines the Central Coast. Over time, it was thoughtfully restored into a Paso Robles wedding venue where people come together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories.

What began as land with potential has become an intentional setting for meaningful gatherings. Today, San Marcos Ranch is known as a premier outdoor wedding venue in Paso Robles, offering a blend of open space, vineyard views, and a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that invites guests to slow down and stay awhile.

It all started with a simple dream, to have enough space for our twelve grandchildren to run, play, swim, and ride horses in the countryside. That dream became reality when we discovered rolling hills and one of the most picturesque ridgelines in Paso Robles, California. After years of daily restoration and care, those acres were brought back to life and transformed into what is now San Marcos Ranch Wedding and Event Center.

As the property evolved, each space began to take shape with purpose and beauty. We created a stunning rose garden, now home to more than 275 varieties of roses surrounding a timeless stone fountain, a setting that has become a favorite for wedding ceremonies. We restored and refilled a three-quarter-acre pond, complete with walking paths, shaded trees, and gentle waterfalls, offering a peaceful retreat for guests to explore.

A historic 100-year-old barn was carefully repaired and reimagined, now glowing with a rustic chandelier and soft string lighting, creating a warm and inviting space for receptions and gatherings. Throughout the ranch, sweeping views and open landscapes provide a natural backdrop that defines the experience of a Central Coast wedding venue.

Our love for animals is woven into the spirit of the property. From horses and goats to peacocks roaming freely across the grounds, the Ranch carries a sense of life and character that guests immediately feel.

At its heart, San Marcos Ranch was created from a love of gathering. We have always believed in opening our doors, hosting with generosity, and sharing meaningful moments with family and friends. That same spirit lives on today as we welcome couples and guests to celebrate their weddings and events here in Paso Robles.
