It all started with a dream to have enough space for our twelve grandchildren to run, play, swim and ride horses in the country. That dream became a reality when we discovered acres of rolling hills and the most picturesque ridge in Paso Robles. After several years of working everyday to bring those acres back to life, we are now proud to welcome you to San Marcos Ranch. In time we completed the spectacular rose garden, boasting over 275 different varieties of roses surrounding an old stone fountain. We refreshed and refilled a 3/4 acre pond surrounded by pathways to wander, trees to take shade and waterfalls to discover. We repaired a 100 year-old barn, adding the perfect, rustic chandelier and strings of twinkling lights. And — because of our love for animals — we added a big, lovable dog, six cats, four goats, one rooster, five hens, two horses and a muster of peacocks to complete the dream. We have always enjoyed great parties and sharing God’s abundance with family and friends, so we forged ahead to create the San Marcos Ranch Wedding & Event Center and haven’t looked back. We hope to inspire you to treat strangers like family, to put others first and to forge a lasting legacy of hospitality and love.
